LES COLLECTIONNEURS MONO-MODELE : UNE PASSION POUR UNE VOITURE UNIQUE

SINGLE-MODEL COLLECTORS: A PASSION FOR A UNIQUE CAR

At 10/40, we believe that there are as many passions as there are enthusiasts. Each collector lives his passion in his own way. Among them, single-model collectors stand out for their devotion to a specific car model, seeking to acquire all its versions. Let's discover together some of these extraordinary collections.

#1 THE AVANT-GARDE: THE RENAULT AVANTIME COLLECTION

The 1990s were a boom period for Renault, with models like the Safrane Biturbo , Spider and Clio Williams . In the early 2000s, Renault, in collaboration with Matra, launched the Avantime , an innovative "Coupéspace". Although this model was a commercial failure with less than 9,000 units produced, it left an indelible mark.

Porsche 964 Collection

In the Porsche world, the Paint to Sample (PTS) option allows you to choose a paint from outside the catalog, subject to approval. To get a Porsche with unique colors, it is better to turn to older generations.

This is what @Olliploeger , a Porsche 964 enthusiast, did, who gathered in his garage an impressive collection of 964s, with models in different colors , thus showing his love for variety and originality.

#3 THE WIZARD OF BURGUNDY: THE ABARTH COLLECTION

Let's move from single-model to single-brand with a collection of Abarths gathered at the Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune. This exceptional place houses 9 museums and more than 4,500 collector's items, including motorcycles, models, fire trucks and even fighter planes.

#4 KETCHUP OR MUSTARD: DAVID LEE’S FERRARI COLLECTION

David Lee, CEO of the King Wa Lee jewelry group, has one of the finest Ferrari collections in the world. His collection is nicknamed Ketchup/Mustard because he has almost put together two "Big Five" sets, one in red and one in yellow. All he needs is a yellow LaFerrari to complete his collection.
